Boho Botanist began with a simple question: why does most “skincare” stop at the face when 90% of our skin lives below it? Between daily showers in hard water, humid monsoons, dry winters, and long days in AC, our bodies were taking the hit—feeling squeaky after the shower, tight by noon, and dull by the weekend. We wanted something different: body care that worked with Indian climate and Indian skin, not against it.

So we went back to what our skin already understands—botanicals—and paired them with modern, gentle formulation science. We started at the most honest place: the shower. If we could make cleansing feel like care, everything after would get easier. Almond & Babassu became our soft, oil-to-milk cushion. Green Tea & Cactus brought light, lasting hydration for heat and humidity. Then came fine-milled scrubs that respect the barrier, toners to refine texture, and milks/oils that sink in without heaviness.

From day one, our rule has been clear: be specific, be gentle, and be real about results. No SLS/SLES, no parabens, no phthalates, no mineral oil—ever. Cruelty-free by choice. And always made for everyday life in India.
